How Big is Epcot?

Epcot is 305 acres, which is almost three times the size of the Magic Kingdom. Epcot is the second largest park at Disney World, falling behind Animal Kingdom, who is actually 508 acres due to its large savannah with the animals. The distance from the front gates to the back of the park is roughly 1 mile.

The 305 acres is the official size Walt Disney World states for their park, however, our measurements show the actual size might be closer to 250 acres, depending on what backstage areas are included and what they consider the official borders of the park.

How Big is Epcot Compared to Magic Kingdom?

How Big is Epcot’s World Showcase?

Epcot’s World Showcase is about 115 acres in size. There are no official numbers on the size of the World Showcase, however, using online tools we were able to measure the area to be around 105-120 acres for The World Showcase, depending on how much backstage area or buildings you include.

What is the Distance Around Epcot World Showcase Lagoon?

How many miles is it to walk around EPCOT? It is roughly 1.2 miles to walk around the World Showcase lagoon as measured by my Apple watch. This does not include taking extra steps to walk through each of the countries. The World Showcase lagoon itself is about 40 acres.

How Long Does It Take to Walk Around EPCOT?

As mentioned above, it is 1.2 miles to walk around the World Showcase lagoon. With crowds, it will take about 30 to 40 minutes to walk around EPCOT World Showcase lagoon. This does not take into account time to stop at the various food booths and shops around the World Showcase lagoon.

How Big is Epcot’s Future World?

Our measurements using online tools show Future World is roughly 80 acres if you include the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride. As listed above, this calculation does not include backstage areas and may not include official borders of the park or section.

How Big is Epcot’s Parking Lot?

Epcot’s Parking Lot is 141 acres including the bus loading areas. This is room for 11,211 vehicles. This parking lot is divided into two tram line sections. The first tram line services Discover, Create, Journey and Amaze lots while the second tram line services Imagine, Explore and Wonder. Typically, if you are in Discover, Create, Journey or Amaze, it will be quicker to walk to the front of the park then take a tram.
